8.2 Troubleshooting guide

Does not detect the HDMI
HDMI cable is not connected correctly.
Unplug the HDMI device and connect it
again firmly.
Tablet is not docked in the cradle
correctly.
Dock the tablet in the cradle again
following Section 3.5, “Docking the
tablet”.
Wire in the HDMI cable is disconnected.
Replace the HDMI cable.
Connected device is not working.
Try the HDMI with other device to see if
HDMI would be recognized or not.
Battery level goes down too
fast
Battery pack is aged.
Replace the battery pack with a new
one as described in Section 7.2,
“Replacing the battery pack”.
Can not log in
Wrong user name or password.
Enter user name and password again. If
you still can not log in, contact the
administrator at the facility.
Can not power off
Running application is preventing
shut-down.
Close all running applications and try to
shut down again following Section 5.5,
“Power off”.
Problem occurring in Windows system
and/or middleware.
Close all running applications as much
as possible, press and hold the tablet
power button (5 – 6 seconds) to power
off.
When it is off, follow Section 4.5,
“Power on” to make sure tablet starts
properly.
Can not operate
Problem occurring on the application
that is being activated.
Close all inoperable applications. If
applications cannot be closed, power
off the tablet following Section 5.5,
“Power off”.
Problem occurring in Windows system.
Press and hold the tablet power button
(5-6 seconds) to power off.
When it is off, follow Section 4.5,
“Power on” to make sure tablet starts
properly.
