SC-1 INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Ch.8

When returning the tablet for repair, contact Olympus. With the tablet, include a description of the 

malfunction or damage and the name and telephone number of the individual at your location who is 

most familiar with the problem. Follow the instructions below accordingly before returning.

CAUTION

Olympus is not liable for any injury or damage that occurs as a result of repairs 

attempted by non-Olympus personnel.

NOTE

Olympus does not guarantee that data stored in the tablet will be protected.

If the tablet you are asking for repair has the personal information, the personal information will be 

deleted by Olympus.

Returning the tablet for repair

1

Back up the data in the tablet with other memory device to avoid losing any data 
managed by the facility.

2

Discard all data in the tablet to avoid data breach of the data managed by the facility.

3

Shut down the tablet as instructed in Section 5.5, “Power off”.

4

Undock the tablet from the cradle.
