Setting the BL MAX exposure time
Select the exposure time in the BL imaging mode from the settings listed in the following table.
In advance, be sure to perform the procedure in “
 Opening the BL image adjustment screen”
on page 49.

NOTE
Selecting a longer MAX exposure time increases the image brightness but this also
degrades the image smoothness in observations of quickly moving regions.
Setting Description
1 field, 2 field,
4 field, 6 field A larger value extends the exposure time and thus increases the
image brightness.
1 field is equal to 1/50 sec.

Tap the “Pull-down” button for “BL MAX
exposure time” to switch and select the setting.
