White balance control is
inaccurate.
The IR or BL imaging mode is set.
Select the optimum imaging mode by
referring to Section 6.2, “Operation of
IR imaging mode” or Section 6.4,
“Operation of BL imaging mode”.
If the WLI is unavailable even when the
filter selector knob is set to “WLI”, this
instrument may function abnormal.
Switch the LED light source to the
emergency lamp and contact Olympus.
The image is colored
abnormally.
The color tone is set improperly.
Select the optimum imaging mode by
referring to “
Adjusting the BL color
tone” on page 57.
The white balance is adjusted
improperly.
Adjust the white balance by referring to
the instruction manual for the surgical
microscope.
The IR or BL imaging mode is set.
Select the optimum imaging mode by
referring to Section 6.2, “Operation of
IR imaging mode” or Section 6.4,
“Operation of BL imaging mode”.
An extraneous light from a shadowless
lamp, etc. is incident to the observed
region.
Prevent the extraneous light from being
incident to the observed region.
The data display on IR or BL
imaging is not displayed on
the observation monitor.
The character information display is set
to “OFF”.
Set the character information display to
“ON” by referring to “
Setting the data
display on the observation monitor” on
page 63.
The image (illumination) is
dark or too bright.
The brightness is adjusted improperly.
Set optimum brightness by referring to
“
Adjusting the IR brightness” on
page 39.
The surgical microscope and LED light
source are connected improperly.
Connect the surgical microscope and
LED light source properly by referring to
their instruction manuals.
The IR imaging mode is set.
Set the WLI mode by referring to
Section 6.2, “Operation of IR imaging
mode”.
An extraneous light from a shadowless
lamp, etc. is incident to the observed
region.
Adjust the extraneous light so that it is
not incident to the observed region.
Image is noisy.
The AGC is applied at a high level.
When the image brightness becomes
insufficient in observation of a distant
view, etc., the AGC is applied strongly,
making the image noisy. If this
happens, reducing the observation
distance can increase the image
brightness and decrease noise.
