Chapter 4 Function Setup
This chapter describes how to set up the functions on the touch panel of the surgical microscope
before use.
Before turning the LED light source and surgical microscope ON, read their instruction manuals
carefully and heed the instructions given in them.
CAUTION
Set the filter selector knob to “WLI” before turning the surgical microscope ON. If it
is turned ON while the knob is set to other position, malfunction will result.
This section lists the settings required for optimum use of this instrument and the ancillary equipment
connected to it.

Setting Description
Custom switches Assign functions to the custom switches.


Iris area Set the area in which the image brightness is measured.


Iris sensitivity Set the brightness control speed.


IR brightness Set the IR image brightness.


IR AGC MAX gain Set the maximum value for electrical enhancement of IR image brightness.


IR enhancement Set the degree of image structure or contour enhancement when this is used.
