Chapter 6 Measurement procedures (LX only)

For side-view optical adapter
Insert the distal end of the insertion tube into the side view guide directly
oriented towards the protrusion in the white indented part.

After inserting the insertion tube distal end into the guide hole to
the end, rotate the check tool so that the protrusion in the middle of
the white indented part comes into the center of the visual field.

When the insertion tube is set in the check tool, press the [FRZ/
REC] button to freeze the white image.
When capturing the white image, hold the insertion tube by a position behind the
angulation section so that no force is applied to the optical adapter and
angulation section.
CAUTION
•
Applying excessive force to the optical adapter when capturing a white image may reduce
measurement accuracy.
NOTE
•
Capturing a white image
The white image affects measurement accuracy so it is necessary to adjust the brightness to
the appropriate level as shown below.
