Chapter 6 Measurement procedures (LX only)

Dirt on the surface of the lens of the adapter affects the measurement accuracy. Check
captured images to confirm that there is no dirt before using the adapter in an actual
measurement.
Checking the stereo optical adapter
For 4-mm and 6-mm types

The following confirmation screen is displayed when the live
screen is displayed if a stereo optical adapter is attached.
This screen shows the set numbers and adapter names of the stereo optical
adapters registered that are the same type as the stereo optical adapter that is
connected.

Check the name and set numbers of the stereo optical adapter,
select "OK" and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.

If a stereo optical adapter that is the same type as the stereo optical adapter
that is connected has not been registered, you need to register the stereo
optical adapter by executing “NEW STEREO ADAPTER”. See “Using a new
stereo optical adapter (NEW STEREO ADAPTER)” (page 108) for details
about operations.
