Chapter 9 Troubleshooting
Self-check

sounds). HIGH
TEMPERATURE
(MAIN UNIT).
PLEASE TURN OFF
THE POWER. The message prompts
you to stop operations
because the inside of
the main unit was too
hot and triggered the
self-check function. Terminate inspection, allow
the instrument to cool down,
and then turn power back on
again.
Operation
load for
articulation is
getting
heavier. OVER CURRENT
(ARTICULATION
MOTOR).
PLEASE TURN OFF
THE POWER. The insertion tube is
overloaded and the
self-check function was
triggered to prompt
termination of
inspection. Extend the insertion tube as
much as possible to reduce
the loop amount, and turn
power back on without
operating the [ANGLE]
joystick.

PLEASE TURN OFF
THE POWER AND
CLEAN THE
ELECTRODE. An abnormality was
detected in the tip
electrode of the
insertion tube. Immediately withdraw the
insertion tube from the
object of observation and
turn the power off. Clean the
insertion tube tip and optical
adapter electrodes, and then
reinstall the optical adapter
(See “3.4 Inspecting the
insertion tube” (page 31) and
“3.6 Inspecting the optical
adapter” (page 35).)
