8 Troubleshooting

Problem

Cause and recommended action

The system cannot be
turned on.

The AC adapter or the battery is not connected.

Connect the AC adapter or the battery correctly. ("Preparing the power supply" (P.

The objective lens on the insertion tube's distal end or the optical adapter is dirty, or
