6 Stereo measurement procedures (RX (stereo measurement function) only)

Make sure that the adapter name and the serial number for the stereo optical
adapter are correct and then select "OK" and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.

Make sure that the O-ring is attached to the distal end of the insertion tube and
also the stereo optical adapter is securely attached. Select "OK" and then press
the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.

Adjust the brightness of a white image.
Use the check tool provided with the stereo optical adapter.
Insert the distal end of the insertion tube into the forward-view guide hole or the side-view guide
hole until it touches the end. Rotate the check tool to adjust the direction so that the protrusion in
the center of the white indented part comes close to the center of the view field. Then, adjust the
brightness by using the [BRT] lever.
