3 Pre-observation/pre-operation preparation and inspection
Hold down the main unit's power button ( ) until a short beep is generated to turn on power.
Display screen and menu operations become enabled about 10 seconds after the power button (
) is pressed.
When the power is turned on, a list of the optical adapters is displayed.
Select the optical adapter to use, and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
Hold down the main unit's power button ( ) for at least two seconds.

If the optical adapter is replaced during observation, select the optical adapter again in [Menu Operation].

When using AT100S/NF-IV94 or AT100S/FF-IV94, selecting 100SN or 100SF from the optical adapter list
enables to display the erect image.

Turn the optical adapter nut clockwise until
the first screw thread passes over the con-
necting screw thread.

Once past the first screw thread, turn the
entire main body of the optical adapter clock-
wise while pushing gently until it fits into the
positioning cut surface on the insertion tube’s
distal end and can be turned no further.

Turn the nut of the optical adapter clockwise
until the second screw thread is screwed
onto the connecting screw thread. Tighten
the nut until it stops.
To remove the optical adapter, repeat the above attachment steps in reverse order.
