Turn the nut of the optical adapter clockwise until the second screw
thread is screwed onto the connecting screw thread. Tighten the
nut until it is stops.

To remove the optical adapter, repeat these steps in reverse order.
CAUTION
• If you cannot mount or remove the optical adapter because the nut will not turn, stop using it
and contact Olympus.
•
The optical adapter is a precise instrument using glass components in the optical system. Do
not drop it or hit it against hard surfaces.
NOTE
• The optical adapter is designed for safety with a double-screw construction to prevent it from
falling off.
