Using the live screen/frozen screen
Live screen/frozen screen menu display and functions
The menu on the live screen/frozen screen can be used for the following
settings.

IMAGE
ENHANCE
Adjusts the clarity of the image.
The enhancement levels in increasing order
are “LOW”, “MEDIUM” and “HIGH”.
MEDIUM
COLOR
ENHANCE
Emphasizes or de-emphasizes the colors in
the observation image.
STD : Displays a standard type observed
image.
RED : Emphasizes the red in the display.
BLU : Emphasizes the blue in the display.
R&B : Emphasizes the overall colors in the
display.
B&W: Image is displayed in monochrome.

EXPOSURE
Adjust the CCD exposure time. The default is
“AUTO”, which optimizes the exposure time
automatically. The maximum exposure time
can be set in the following range.
NTSC: [17ms]
→
[500ms]
PAL : [20ms]
→
[500ms]
When stereo adapter is selected, this setting is
fixed as 17 ms (NTSC) or 20 ms (PAL).

NOISE
REDUCTION
Switches the noise reduction setting from high
to standard. Select “HIGH” when image noise
is noticeable.
NOTE
•
When the stereo adapter is attached, it is
automatically turned “OFF” and cannot be
selected from the menu.
•
“HIGH” can cause ghosting when observing
moving images.
STANDARD
DEFAULT
Resets image menu settings to the default
settings.
