Chapter 9 Troubleshooting
Image cannot
be recorded or
retrieved. INTERNAL
MEMORY
ERROR. Internal memory card is not
formatted or the data being
accessed is damaged. Try again, or turn power off
and then back on again.
INTERNAL
MEMORY FULL. Internal memory is full. Delete unneeded data to
free up space into the
internal memory.
An attempt was made to
create a new folder while
the card already contains
the maximum number of
folders. Reduce the number of
folders into the internal
memory.
An attempt was made to
record an image file while a
file having the maximum
serial number already exists
in the folder. Record the image file in a
new folder.
RECORDING
MEDIA NOT
READY.
STORE TO
INTERNAL
MEMORY? An attempt was made to
record an image file while
recording media is not
loaded. To store the file to internal
memory, select “OK”.
To store the file to other
media besides internal
memory, select “CANCEL”,
load the media to be used,
and then store the image
file.
A message
appears when
you save an
edited note. Changes cannot
be saved.
Please insert
the RECORDING
CARD (CF card). An attempt was made to
record a note while a
recording card was not
loaded. Insert a recording card (CF
card) and save the note
again.
An error
message
appears when
recording
media is
inserted. Please format
the RECORDING
MEDIA. The recording media that is
inserted is not FAT16
format. Format the recording media
on a computer and insert it
into the main unit again.
An error
message
appears when
a USB device
is connected. ERROR (USB1)
Please detach
connected USB
devices. The USB device consumes
500 mA or more of electrical
current. This type of USB device is
not supported.
Use only recommended
USB memory devices.
