5 When installing a new cartridge, remove it from its packet and then remove the protection tape applied
to the nozzles. DO NOT TOUCH THE CONTACTS or the nozzles of the cartridge. Hold the cartridge
from the sides.
6 Holding the cartridge with the nozzles facing down and with the contacts facing towards the rear part
of the printer, insert the colour ink cartridge into the right-side carrier and the photographic or black
ink cartridge into the left-side carrier.
Push the cartridge in until it is secured by the tab.
7 On completion, after replacing the cartridge(s), close the front hatch.
