(*1) A brand check is performed to make a printer operate as a model (brand) that is different from the one (brand)
set in the past, and a change in brand that is made by a PJL command, the behavior at power on using a new
EEPROM and so on are recognized as errors and reset.
(*2) The page counter is reset to zero (0) only when the count is 500 is or less. (ENGINE RESET by a PJL command
is an exception.)
(*3) Although the DOT SHIFT setting menu exists in the system maintenance menu, the DOT SHIFT setting is not
initialized even when the system maintenance menu items are initialized, because the setting value storage
area is located in PU EEPROM AREA. On the contrary, when PU EEPROM AREA is initialized, the DOT SHIFT
setting is also initialized.
