TIPS
•
Grilling has never been so easy.
• You can grill meat or vegetables at the same time; if you use the lid (A) food will
maintain their taste separate. The result will be delicious, the meat tender and the
vegetables tasty and crunchy.
•
Between a cooking and another make sure that the fat collection container (E) is not
full. Empty it, if necessary, then place it back in its slot (C3).
•
The container (E) is very hot. Use a pot holder or a kitchen glove.
•
Do not pour the container content. Burn danger!
• Pour a little bit of water in the fat collection container (E) to ease its cleaning.
>> Basic tips
•
Big meat parts cooking (steaks, ribs, etc.) requires an hotter plate (B). Preheat the grid
for 6÷8 minutes while it’s covered by the lid.
• To cook sausages and little meat parts (chicken breasts, skewers, etc.) the lid (A) it’s
not necessary.
☞
Lift the lid (A) during cooking, some steam could leak; work
carefully.
•
Cooking without the lid (A) increases cooking times.
•
Do not place frozen food on the plate. Thaw them first.
• “Soft” meat is indicate for grilling. Meat pieces, as, for example, steaks or ribs, will
result softer if put to marinate during the night.
•
Do not cook meat for too long; it’ll lose its taste.
•
The plate (B) can be used to maintain cooked food at the desired temperature: cover
the plate (B) with aluminium foil with its shiny side facing upwards, then place food
on it and set the desired temperature using the thermostat (D).
•
Do not flip grilled food too often. When food are well browned on both sides, reduce
the temperature to prevent them from drying or from cooking too much.
•
Never use sharp or metallic tools (fork, kitchen pliers, knives, etc.) on the plate (B) to
not damage the non-stick coating.
•
For skewers preparation, saté or kebab, soak wooden or bamboo skewers in water to
prevent them from burning during cooking. Do not use metal skewers.
