An interruption of the TMT Link may also occur while the ATOM
is in an area within 3 to 4 feet (1 meter) of a running Dive
Propulsion Vehicle. The Link will be restored within 4 seconds
after the Vehicle is shut off or the ATOM is moved out of that
area. When using a Strobe, a temporary interruption may occur
shortly after the Strobe flashes. The Link will be restored within 4
seconds.
DIVE TIME REMAINING (DTR)
One of the most important pieces of information on Oceanic
dive computers is the Dive Time Remaining numeric display. The
ATOM constantly monitors No Decompression status, Oxygen
Accumulation, and Breathing Gas Consumption Rate.
The Dive Time Remaining display (Fig. 78) will indicate the No
Deco, O2, or Air Time, whichever Time is the least amount
available. The specific Time being displayed is identified by the
symbols TIME and NDC (or O2 or AIR).
In the event that Air Time Remaining (ATR) becomes less than
NDC and O2 Time, after 1 minute the Audible Alarm will sound,
the LED will flash, and the Pressure value will flash.
