Annex X: How to create WPE Port in Windows 7

Annexes

An interactive services dialog detection will appear on the task bar. Click on it, then select 
"View the message".

Then you will get the classical "Windows NT Print Extension Add port" dialog:

- Enter a port name. "PspoolPort" for example.

- Click OK

- Click Return now

Close the dialog box and you will see that the port has been created.

Then follow the normal workflow, go back to Devices and Printers, and add the printer by 
selecting the port you have just created.

In the case of a 64 bit system, the WPE port has to be configured by using a dedicated Ad-
ministrative tool.
