Note:
If a Firewall is defined onto your system (on server, client or network), you'll have to con-
figure the Firewall in order to allow PRISMAspool client/server communication trough the
Firewall.
Three solutions are possible depending on the used Firewall, as listed in the following,
from the most secure on to the less secure one. Among the possible solutions for a given
Firewall, the most secure solution must be preferred.
• Solution 1:
Allow some binaries to bypass the firewall
The binaries for PRISMAspool are :
Ø Ospserver.exe
Ø OspserverMM.exe
Ø Ospinterface.exe
Ø Ospadmin.exe.
• Solution 2:
Allow the protocol to bypass the firewall
The used protocol is DCOM.
• Solution 3:
Open the ports used by protocol
The DCOM ports are 135 to 139.
