5.4.4.1 Utility menu
Perform various settings for application functions of products.
Setup items Parameters Description
ErrorDisplay To set display method to the operation panel when minor error
occurred.
Media detection When media has been initialized, to perform detection of width
and front edge of the media.
Power on cleaning Cleaning should be performed automatically when the power is
turned on.
Utility (1/2)
Media width If media detection is not performed for initial media, to set the
width of the media in the tray.
Print and Wipe To wipe while printing, to take care of possible condensation on
the print head nozzle plate.
SmartTop The ideal temperature of the media is near to the preheater. This
area of paper is fed before a print starts to obtain perfect quality.
Auto Cleaning Performs cleaning cycle while printer is idle at the set
temperature.
Utility (2/2)
Cap Cycle To perform auto tubing flush when printer is idle.
Utility (1/2 – 2/2) - • [CANCEL] key: To shift to the previous hierarchy menu.
