PHOTOS 117 - 119 : Glue the rubbing strakes 241 onto both sides of the launch, five millimetres above the first lining strip. Using a saw
separate the launch from the base flush with the lining. Glue the stem 242 into place along with the keel 243 , taken from strips.
PHOTOS 120 - 122 : Glue the stern post 244 to the stern. Fit the thwarts 245 & 246 . The limber boards 247 will cover the full profile of
the lining strips. Glue the rudder 248 and its helm 249 into place. Shape and glue the tholes 250 into place. Varnish the whole
assembly, except for the parts that have been painted. Finally fit the launches in place and tie them down with the lashings 251 .
PHOTOS 123 - 125 : After making up the mast 252 and its corresponding accessories, attach it with the parts shown.
PHOTO 126 : Using a saw trim off the excess beam and glue it on at the same height as it was, but this time to the hatch shown. On the
other hatch glue the support 263 . These parts will fix the base 264 .

Use a clip, or similar, to attach the motor to the base and line up and join the motor shaft to the propeller shaft by
means of a gimbal. Fit a servo to the base and shape up the control rod so that it stays inside the hull until it reaches the helm. Install a
switch on the base with the receiver and the frequency crystal. Fit the phase shifter speed control and the battery in place. Connect
these components as indicated in the instructions accompanying each of them.
