NWA3D A31 User Manual

Z-Axis
The axis in three-dimensional Cartesian coordinates which is usually oriented
vertically.

Z-Lift
The process that a printer uses to lift the hot end upward prior to retraction and
moving.

Z-Axis Carriage

The part of the extruder assembly and X-Axis motor that moves up and down on
the Z-Axis of a 3D printer.
