5.2.4 TEST MF / HF > MF/HF RECEIVER
The main purpose of this mode is measuring of power level and carrier frequency
of MF/HF radio station. Tester allows to carry out measurements through broadcast
by means of antenna and conductive measurements provided with help of external
attenuator (supplied optionally). The receiver’s bandwidth BW(-3dB) is 3kHz.
Measurements through Antenna:

If the signal level is lower than (-90) dBm
the frequency data will not be displayed, the
notification “
Low level
” is shown.
Measurements through Attenuator:
This mode allows to measure power level up
to 200W with help of external attenuator.
Power limit is defined by external attenuator
parameters.
Attenuation
of
internal
attenuator is selected in order to input signal
doesn’t exceed (-20) dBm. For example, if
transmitted power is 250W (54dBm) and
external attenuation is 40 dB, then internal
attenuation is calculated as below:
54dBm – (-20) dBm – 40dB = 34dB.
Attenuation of external attenuator can be
changed through menu
