TEST CH 406 MHz
In this menu only channel 406MHz is tested. This may be used when the channel
121.5MHz is absent (like in PLB for example) or faulty. Also it may be useful
when you need to check only 406MHz frequency.
All parameters are given only as an example:
After the signal receipt the measured parameters
are displayed:
FIRST SCREEN:
Mes#xx
– number of the memory slot, where the
test results will be saved. To save press
F2

Test
– type of the signal;
TEST
signal is used
for testing purposes and is ignored by Cospas-
Sarsat system.
DISTRESS
is a real emergency
mode,
do not emit false Distress signals!

– protocol type, in this case it’s
a maritime user protocol;
