GLOSSARY
q
WATCH-DOG
: bright signal and circuit which surveys the microprocessor correct operating.
q
ZONE ENABLED
: zone which detects alarms and troubles.
q
ZONE DISABLED
: zone which detects only troubles (line cut and short circuit).
q
ZONE EXCLUDED
: zone which does not detect either alarms or troubles.
q
CONTROL PANEL IN “DAY MODE
”: operating mode which allows the operator to inspect the event on
field, before signal silence or reset. See flow chart in Appendix A.
q
CONTROL PANEL IN “NIGHT MODE”
: automatic operating mode. See flow chart in Appendix A.
q
CONTROL PANEL POWER ON
: signal which latches the control panel power ON.
q
RECOGNITION TIME
: time which allows the operator to carry out a system recognition in alarm condition
(only with the control panel in “Day Mode”), before alarm and siren output activation.
q
WALK TEST
: zone manual test which allows to performe a manual detector test.
q
VERIFICATION TIME
: this function allows to prevent false alarms from a zone. When detecting a zone
alarm with programmed verification time the system performes an automatic zone reset; if detecting an
alarm coming from the same zone, before the verification time end, the panel activates the alarm sequence.
q
PREALARM OUTPUT ACTIVATION TIME
: it is the time during which the prealarm relay remains active in
zone prealarm condition.
q
ALARM OUTPUT ACTIVATION TIME
: it is the time during which the alarm relay remains active in zone
alarm condiiton.
q
SIREN OUTPUT ACTIVATION TIME
: it is the time during which the siren relay remains active in zone
alarm condition.
q
PREALARM OUTPUT STAND-BY TIME
: it is the time during which the prealarm relay remains in OFF po-
sition even in presence of a new zone prealarm. This timing starts when the prealarm output activation time
ends.
q
ALARM OUTPUT STAND-BY TIME
: it is the time during which the alarm relay remains in OFF position
even in presence of a new zone alarm. This timing starts when the alarm output activation time ends.
q
SIREN OUTPUT STAND-BY TIME
: it is the time during which the siren relay remains in OFF position even
in presence of a new zone alarm. This timing starts when the siren output activation time ends.
q
MEMORY VERIFICATION
: integrity test of the EEPROM memory (all the user programmings are stored in
the EEPROM memory).
q
SIGNAL SILENCE
: manual operation which allows in case of zone alarm to silence the buzzer and the si-
lenceable alarm outputs, leaving the event on the LCD display.
By pressing again this front panel key the previous cleared outputs reactivate.
q
RESET
: manual operation which allows in case of zone alarm to silence the buzzer and the not silenceable
alarm outputs as well as allows to clear the alarms on the display.
