Nozzle Extension Resistor Resistance Check
See Figure 5-4.
1. Remove the wear sleeve/spider/resistor holder assembly (1, 2, 3) from
the nozzle adapter (4). Remove the resistor (2) from the
resistor/spider/wear sleeve holder (1, 3) assembly.
2. Check the resistor with a megohmmeter. The megohmmeter should
read between 18 and 22 megohms at 500 volts. If the reading is out of
this range, replace the resistor.
