Resistor Resistance Check
See Figure 5-3.
1. Perform steps 1 through 3 under Multiplier/Resistor Assembly Continuity
and Resistance Check
.
2. Unscrew the resistor probe (2) from the multiplier (4).
3. Connect the megohmmeter probes to the electrode (1) and
resistor spring (3). The megohmmeter should read between
153 and 187 megohms at 500 volts. If the reading is out of this range,
replace the resistor probe.
