Outputs:
a. Main Contactor
b. Blower Relay
c. Air Valve (opens cover)
d. Alarm
e. Spare outputs
f.
Light Tower (optional)
The main contactor and blower contactor are separate. This allows the
alarm conditions to shut down power to the energy zones and conveyor
apparatus, while the blower keeps running.
NOTE: The blower stops running if the Raise Machine Cover screen is
displayed.
There is a five-position dip switch bank on the I/O board. This allows
engineering personnel to choose between several optional operating
variables: Refer to the
Specifications section in the Site Preparation and
Installation Guide for the dip switch settings.
The thermocouple board has the thermocouple wires attached to it.
There is a thermocouple for each zone of the system—except for the
edge heat zone. They are located on the fixed rail side of the process
cavity, in the top and bottom zones, protruding through the side ceramic
reflectors.
The thermocouple board provides temperature display and control of
each zone. Features of the thermocouple board include:
S
3 digit display of temperature in
°
C
S
Detects good/bad thermocouple condition
S
Electronic test system
S
Expert teach system
S
Visual control indicators
S
Stabilization and control of process cavity
S
Automatic cold junction compensation
Refer to
Profile Verification with Thermocouples in the Appendix for a
description on how the thermocouple board compensates to process
variables to ensure profile repeatability.
There is a five-position dip switch bank on the thermocouple board. All
five dip switches are set factory default in the off position.
