After the oven has been positioned, it must be leveled and aligned to
accommodate upstream and downstream equipment. Follow these steps
to level and align the oven.
1. See Figure A 4-2. Adjust leveling pads 1, 2, 5, and 6 to set the oven
conveyor pass-line height at the correct elevation.
2. Check that the oven is level in four places:

Lengthwise hinge side
S
Lengthwise operator side
S
Across the width at the entrance end
S
Across the width at the exit end
NOTE: The oven cannot be properly leveled by placing a leveling
instrument on the conveyor.
3. After leveling the oven, put a bead of silicone adhesive under pads 3
and 4 and turn them until they contact the floor—plus

turn more.
4. Check the conveyor’s machine-to-machine alignment. Once verified,
use an indelible ink pen to draw a ring on the floor around pads
1 through 6 for future reference.
Use the following procedures to connect the monitor and keyboard to the
oven.
1. Route the keyboard and monitor cables through the access hole at
the back base of the monitor.
2. Connect the power cable from the monitor into the outlet located
behind the backplane board and below the monitor.
3. Remove the upper hinge side outer cover located behind the monitor.
Remove the duct cover to access the computer.
4. Route the video cable from the monitor to the computer and plug into
the video board.
5. Route the keyboard cable to the computer. Plug the round connector
into the motherboard and the square connector into the I/O card.
6. Replace the covers and attach the monitor to the oven with the
screws provided.
