If open is found, repair cable 2455.
Motor controller board is defective With power on, use a voltmeter to measure
for +18 Vdc between pins 4 (ground) and
2 (positive) on the motor controller board.

If voltage is not present:
The motor controller board is at fault.
Check the breaker on the motor
controller board closest to the
backplane connector.

If voltage is present:
Use a voltmeter to measure between
pins 4 (ground) and 17 (pulsed voltage)
and manually turn the conveyor motor
shaft. The voltage should toggle
between 0 and 5 Vdc as the pulse
wheel moves through the optical
switch.
- If the voltage level shifts back and
forth from +5 Vdc and ground the
motor controller board is defective.
- If the voltage level does not shift,
the conveyor motor assembly is
defective.
NOTE: Checks can also be completed
with an oscilloscope. With the ground
scope at pin 4 and probe at pin 17 on the
motor controller board, access the Raise
Machine Cover Screen and enter a
setpoint of 50. As the motor begins to turn,
a 5 V square wave pulse should appear
and increase in frequency until the motor
stabilizes in speed. If the square wave is
present, the motor controller board is
defective. If the square wave is not
present, the conveyor motor assembly is
defective.
