TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Machine will not
propel.
Main pump not developing pressure.
Brakes not releasing.
Propulsion relief setting too low.
Defective motor or broken drive chain.
See Hydraulic Troubleshooting.
See next problem.
Increase relief setting.
Repair or replace motor or
chain.
Brakes will not release
Relief valve setting too low.
Brake valve not shifting.
Brake cylinder bypassing oil.
Adjust relief setting.
Check valve spool for free
motion and that solenoid is
being energized.
Inspect and repack cylinder.
Brakes will not apply.
Brake valve not shifting.
Broken brake spring.
Brake shoes worn.
Check valve spool for free
motion and that solenoid is
being energized.
Inspect spring and replace if
necessary.
Inspect shoes and replace it
necessary.
Power switch off.
Turn power switch on.
Pump switch off.
Turn pump switch on.
Circuit breaker tripped.
Determine cause of electrical
overload and correct.
Workhead assembly
does not operate.
Work/Travel switch in Travel position.
Switch to Work position.
Pulling Valve not shifting.
Check valve spool for free
motion and that solenoid is
being energized. Replace valve
if necessary.
Faulty Pushbutton
Replace hand controller
Faulty limit switch
Replace limit switch.
Pulling cylinder will not
extend or retract when
pushbutton is pushed.
Loose or misadjusted limit switch arm.
Tighten or readjust.
Pulling Head will not
extend.
Lockup pins not removed.
Remove lockup pins.
Pulling head will not
extend beyond DOWN
limit switch.
Loose or misadjusted limit switch arm.
Tighten or readjust.
