Note:
Make sure that your terminal data rate is 38 400.
Setting Initial Parameters
Log In Over the Serial Connection
1.
Connect to the serial port of the Nimbra 300 series switch.
2.
At the terminal, press
[Enter]
When connection is established the following information appears on the
terminal:
n i m b r a 3 0 0 l o g i n : _

Enter the user name and, when prompted for, the password.
P a s s w o r d : _
n i m b r a 3 0 0 : ~ #
The unit is now ready to receive the commands described in the chapter Initial
software installation.
Setting the IP Address and Netmask
1.
Connect to the nimbra 300 Series switch using the serial interface.
2.
Login by using the supplied generic id/password the first time. It is a wise
practice to change the password before connecting the to the network. Refer
to section Changing Password below.
3.
List current IP registry: (The shown listing is an example)

Create an address structure
