4.5 Change in polarity
4.5.1 Displaying the change in polarity
The display indicates the position of the
polarity: either on the right electrode or on
the left electrode.

4.5.2 Operating the change in polarity
This occurs automatically every 90 min
and lasts 5 min.
During this change in polarity phase,
the keys are blocked, no actions are possible.
The display shows 90 60. The first two
digits indicate the minutes (90) and the
second two digits indicate the seconds (60)
being 60 seconds. The seconds count down to
zero. When the seconds are at zero, the
countdown of the minutes starts changing to
89 and so on for 90 minutes. E.g. 90 60
becomes 90 59 then 90 58, etc., then 89 60
then 89 59, etc. Until 00 00.
At the end of counting, i.e. 00 00, the
right and left polarity displays show 00 00 as
well as the chlorine production display. The
electrode electrically discharges slowly. This is
depolarisation. This operation prevents micro-
short-circuits between the electrodes.
Therefore, they last longer. This stage lasts 5
minutes. The 2 displays are incremented from
00 00 to 04 59.
After counting these minutes, the
production percentages increase until the
value initially saved is displayed. The display
then indicates 90 60 and the countdown starts
again. The polarity is changed automatically
every 90 minutes.
4.6 Operating range
4.6.1 Displaying the operating range
This function is simply an electronic
clock. The operating range is a time setting of
the chlorine production. It indicates the range
during which chlorine production takes place.
Outside of this range, there is no chlorine
production, and the device displays
production at 0%.
This function is recommended for indoor
or covered swimming pools to prevent too
high chlorine concentrations without stopping
the filtration system.
4.6.2 Setting the operating range
To set the operating range start time,
press on the D and + buttons at the same time
to increase it and on the D and – buttons at
the same time to decrease it.
To set the operating range end time, press
on the F and + buttons at the same time to
increase it and on the F and – buttons at the
same time to decrease it.
