Users
When several users use t he PowerCable, it is advisable t o assign t hem dif f erent account s wit h t he
necessary privileges. In t he lef t menu, select

Username
The username. The PowerCable must always have an “ admin” account
wit h administ rat or privileges; t his account cannot be delet ed or
disabled. The device support s up t o 5 user account s. The username must
st art wit h a let t er and may only cont ain numbers and let t ers wit hout
accent s.
Current password
When changing t he password, t he current (old) password must be
ent ered.
Password
New password f or t he given account . The password can be up t o 15
charact ers long and may consist of alphanumeric charact ers and t he
f ollowing special charact ers:

Conf irm password
Ent er t he password again.
Privileges
administrator (full access):
User wit h f ull privileges.
user (may only control outputs):
User t hat can cont rol t he out put s but
cannot change syst em set t ings.
guest (may only observe status):
User t hat cannot change any set t ings,
may only monit or t he current out put st at e.
