SAFETY RULES
Special attention should be paid during sharpening and after the
process. During sharpening, it is necessary to avoid uncontrolled
protrusion of the knife blade from the guide. It is necessary to direct
the machined blade so as not to injure the hands or other parts of
the body. Sharpen the knife by pressing the sharpener to an even
and stable surface!

Sharpening a knife
Sharpening damaged or very blunt edges should begin with pre-treatment

from the side of the handle on the sharpening edges and drag without
tearing off the blade several times only towards the tip of the knife. This
process should be carried out with moderate force and controlled, we stop
the process after dragging a satisfactory sharpness of the knife. In order
to smooth the edges, we use a guide with 4 ceramic edges. We use the
same

guide when we want to sharpen or only smooth the edge of the
knife blade.
Sharpening scissors
To sharpen the scissors, open them holding the handles firmly, insert the
blades of the scissors into the gap of
the drawing.

Then press the
cutting edges on the diamond roller with the appropriate force. The next
step is to move the blades of the scissors several times towards the tip of
the blades until the desired sharpness is achieved. During sharpening,
attention should be paid to the angle at which the blades of the scissors
come into contact with the diamond sharpener. The right angle is reached
when the cutting edge of the scissors is in contact with the sharpening
edge.
After the sharpening is completed, the blade should be cleaned of
impurities, filings and metal particles on it.
Sharpener maintenance:
After use, clean the whetstone with a cloth or a soft brush, never rinsing
with water. It should be swept in a dry place.
