5-2-2 Mounting Illuminator on BETA Frame
(1)
Loosen two screws mounted on the hinge of Illuminator, shown in Fig. 5-2-5,
approximately 3mm. Do not remove them from the hinge.

Put the hinge of Illuminator onto the hinge of the Loupe and firmly tighten the loosened two
screws.

For wiring the Cord of Illuminator, if a frame strap is previously attached, remove it
temporarily.
(4)
Insert the Wiring ring from end of the left temple (bow) and fix it as shown in Fig. 5-2-6.
Loosely attach the Cord along the left temple (bow) so as to allow the Illuminator to move
up and down (vertically) and right and left (horizontally). If necessary to fix the Cord more,
add the Wiring ring or the Wring band(s) onto the strap as shown in Fig. 5-2-6. Handle the
Cord with care. Never pull it hard nor bend it sharply.

Be sure that the Illuminator can move up and down (vertically) and right and left
(horizontally) freely and smoothly without any tension.
(6)
Replace the removed strap to the frame.
(7)
After mounting the Illuminator and adjusting the Loupe, adjust the positions of Illuminator
and Loupe, by changing the angle of the Illuminator up and down and/or right and left while
turning the Illuminator on.
