5-4 Connecting Illuminator to Battery Pack
The Battery Pack may conveniently carried by clipping onto your belt or by putting in your pocket.
5-4-1 Inserting Batteries in Battery Pack
It is strongly recommended to use the enclosed batteries. When using other types of batteries
such as alkaline dry cells, performance will deteriorate causing reduced illumination time.

Pull down the Lid holder on the Battery compartment lid to open.

Put the batteries (4 pcs.) into the battery compartments according to the polarity (+/-) as
indicated inside the Battery pack as sown in Fig. 5-4-1.

Replace the battery compartment lid in place.
5-4-2 Connecting Illuminator to Battery Pack

To connect the Cord to the Battery pack, gasp the black rubber part of Light plug of Cord
with fingers while holding the Battery pack as the Light jack faces upward as shown in Fig.
5-4-2. Position the Light plug and the Light jack together and push the Light plug
downward while slowly turning clockwise until the Light plug connects securely with the
Light jack, the Light plug can only connect in one position. When properly connected,
screw the Metal ring to lock in place by turning it clockwise.

In order to disconnect the Light plug from the Battery pack, unscrew the Metal ring by
turning it counterclockwise and lift it upward to pull up.
