Locate and remove the four screws that secure the main board in the system.

Locate and remove the three screws that secure the fan/heat plate to the main board.

Separate the main board away from the video/USB board and the connector board, then lift
the main board. Start lifting at the right side first, then pull to the right (to clear the AC
power port jack from the bottom case).
8.
Turn the main board over. Locate and remove the two screws that secure the modem board
to the main board.

9.
Carefully disconnect the modem board by pulling it out of connector P3 on the main board.
10.
Disconnect the modem port cable from connector J1 on the modem board.
