Chapter 4 - Terminals and Optional Equipment

Unplug the keyset completely: line cord, LAN cable, and any power adapter which may be
connected to the keyset.
3.
Lower the legs of the keyset if they are raised.
4.
Remove the connector cover on the bottom of the keyset.

Install the adapter on the bottom of the terminal.
6.
Return the terminal to an upright position and reconnect all the cables.
7.
Plug the line cord back into the keyset.
8.
Plug the end of the line cord for the analog device into the jack on the adapter. The opposite
end should then be connected to the analog device.
●
To avoid any hardware problems, when removing the adapter, first unplug the line cord,
then the power cord, then any other adapter cables.
●
The analog device should be placed no greater than 15 meters away from the keyset.
