2. Right-click My Network Places , and select Properties .
The Network Connections window appears.
3. Right-click Local Area Connection , then select Properties .
The Local Area Connection Properties window appears.
4. Double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) .
5. On the General tab:
a Select Use the following IP address .
b Type 172.16.1.200 in the IP address field.
c Type 255.255.255.0 in the Subnet mask field.
d Leave the Default gateway field blank.
e Click OK .
The Internet Protocol properties dialog box closes.
6. Click OK to close the Local Area Connection window.
3.2 Using Dial-up Connection
The procedures in this section assume that the network administrator has
helped set up the remote computer for remote dial-up access and that you
know how to dial-in to the network.
3.2.1 Using WinSCP and Dial-up to Connect Remotely
Use the following procedure to transfer files between the voice
messaging system and a remote computer.
1. On the Windows Desktop, double-click the Dial-up connection
icon.
The Connect page appears. If you are using a network connection,
go to step 6.
2. In the User name field, type admin .
3. In the Password field, type the password: voicemail .
4. Click Dial .
The modem dials the phone number. If the connection is
successful, a small icon with two flashing computers appears On
the Windows taskbar.
5. On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Programs > WinSCP3 >
WinSCP .
The Login window appears.
NOTE
Consult your network administrator for assistance setting up
dial-up access to the network.
