To set the IP Precedence/Diffserv bits for packets leaving the IP terminal there
are the following two options:



System wide.

If all IP phones use the same ToS value, this can be

assigned in commands 84-23-06 and 84-23-12. When an IP phone
registers with the CPU, it looks for settings in these commands. If these
are found, they override any previous individual settings.



Individual.

If different IP phones require different ToS assignments, due

to the network configuration, these assignments must be set at each
individual station
