Setting System Board
Jumpers
This chapter provides jumper setting information for
configuring your system for a particular system
requirement. Situations that require changing the jumper
settings include the following:
You are upgrading your processor.
You have interrupted the Flash utility during a BIOS
upgrade.
You want to clear all customized CMOS settings back
to the factory defaults.
You want to deny access to the Setup utility.
You forgot your password and cannot boot your system.
You require more system resources.

CAUTION
Jumpers are set correctly at the factory for your
configuration.
If your system requires a jumper change, change
only the setting for that condition. Otherwise, keep
the settings at their factory settings.
