3-18   Disassembly and Reassembly

3. 

Carefully lift the LCD panel out of the LCD unit. Holding the LCD panel, disconnect cables
as follows:

 

Disconnect the LCD video cable from the rear of the LCD panel (not shown).

 

Unplug four power inverter cable connectors from the inverter board (see the following
figure).

Take care when reassembling the LCD panel. Route cables out of the

way of the panel before securing the LCD panel to the LCD unit.

Disconnecting LCD Panel Cables

A – Black/Blue Cable Connector Set

C – Power Inverter Board

B – White/Pink Cable Connector Set

Power Inverter Board Removal

Remove the power inverter board follows.

1. 

Remove the LCD panel (see the previous section, “LCD Panel Removal”).

2. 

Disconnect the power cable from the inverter board.

3. 

Remove the two screws securing the inverter board to the LCD base unit.
