(22) Change over the input signal to PAL and repeat the above steps (8) to (21). However, adjustment of “TINT”
is omitted.
(23) Change over the input signal to the SECAM color bar.
(24) Push the “MENU” key to obtain the “D-CONTROL SECAM” screen.
(25) Push the cursor keys “

” of the remote control and select “BELL.”
(26) Make adjustments by pushing the cursor keys “<” and “>” until the chroma level becomes uniform in the
waveform at TP5016.
(27) Push the cursor keys “
” and “
∨
” of the remote control and select “B-Y.”
(28) Make adjustments by pushing the cursor keys “<” and “>” until the black level becomes linear in the B-Y
waveform at TP5014.
(29) Push the cursor keys “
” and “
∨
” of the remote control and select “R-Y.”
(30) Make adjustments by pushing the cursor keys “<” and “>” until the black level becomes linear in the R-Y
waveform at TP5009.
(31) Repeat the above steps (8) to (21).
(32) However, adjustment of “TINT” is omitted.
3-3 Adjustment of RGB level
(1) Apply the PC mode 5 (PC98 480@60Hz) 16-graduation grayscale signal to the PC/RGB input terminal.
(2) Select the PC input with a remote control or the input changeover switch of CTL PWB.
(3) Assume the setting mode for factory shipment, using a factory shipping adjustment command of the remote
control.
When the following commands are sequentially input through the remote control, the factory adjustment
mode is assumed.
(4) Push the “MENU” key to obtain the “D CONTROL PC” screen.
(5) Push the cursor keys “
” and “
∨
” of the remote control and select “BRIGHT.”
(6) Connect an oscilloscope to TP6139 (R-OUT) and make adjustments by pushing the cursor keys “<” and “>”
until the pedestal level attains 600mV DC.
(7) Confirm that the pedestal level is maintained at 600mV DC at TP6141 (G-OUT) and TP6140 (B-OUT).
Advance to the next step (9) when 600mV DC is secured.
Advance to “3-4 Adjustment of sub-brightness” if 600mV DC is not secured.
(8) Select “PICTURE” by pushing the cursor keys “
” and “

” of the remote control.
