METHOD OF ADJUSTMENTS
5-10
5-5 Confirmation of HD/DVD signal mode
(1) Apply an HDTV signal to the HD/DVD input terminal and select the HD input.
(2) Check that the LEDs “MO” and “FS” flash, that “FULH” lights, and that the other jig board check LEDs are
off.
5-6 Confirmation of RGB 400-line mode
(1) Assume the setting mode for factory shipment, using the remote control. Using the “MENU” key, obtain the
“GRAY LEVEL” screen and make setting for “1” in it.
(2) Apply PC mode 3 (program No. 34 PC98@58Hz) to the PC/RGB input terminal and select the PC input.
(3) Confirm that “400H,” “M1,” and “FS” are flashing in the checking LEDs of the jig board, and that other LEDs
are unlit.
(4) After selecting “POSITION” with the “Menu” key, select “Full” with the “Rekuraku wide” key.
(5) Confirm that “FULLH” is newly flashing in the checking LEDs of the jig board.

signal).
(4) Push the “EASY WIDE” key of the remote control to change the screen mode and confirm that variation
occurs in the order of “NORMAL”
→
“FULL”
→
“NORMAL.”
5-8 Confirmation of PC SVGA mode
(1) Apply the PC mode 10 (program No. 8 SVGA@56Hz) tcolor bar puls circle signal to the PC/RGB input
terminal and select the PC input.
(2) Confirm that “M0,” “M1,” “M2,” and “FS” are flashing in the checking LEDs of the jig board, and that other
LEDs are unlit.
(3) Check that a line of horisontal black signal (thinned) is displayed among 5 lines. Display the lamp waveform
and check that the display is normal without vertical streaks, etc. except for the thinning.
(4) Connect an oscilloscope to the checking terminal “SVSLG” of the jig board and confirm that a rectangular
wave with a 20% duty ratio (shown below) can be seen.
5-9 Confirmation of PC MAC signal mode
(1) Apply PC mode 6 (program No. 29 “MAC13”) to the PC/RGB input terminal and select the PC input.
Note: Set the signal generator so that none of HD and VD signals will be output and that it will be G on sync.
