Installing the Blade Assembly Unit
This subsection includes installation instructions for mounting the blade assembly unit into a
standard 19-inch rack assembly.
This subsection also describes the removal procedures.
The blade assembly unit can be installed on the proper rack provided by NEC or several third
vendors. (Each third vendor's rack must conform to the EIA standard. In addition, the rack should be
equipped with the blade assembly unit. Contact the service representative for details.)
WARNING
Observe the following instructions to use the blade assembly unit safely. Failure
to follow these instructions may result in death or serious personal injury. See
pages 1 to 8 for details.
Do not use any rack which does not conform to the relevant standard.
Do not use the blade assembly unit in any unapproved place.
