4-38  Windows Setup 

 

Installing Windows 

Windows Server 2008 Installation 

IMPORTANT: 

Never install Hyper-V, as NEC Express5800 series does not support it. 

 

Follow the procedure below to install. 
 

1. 

Power on the system. 

2. 

Load the backup DVD-ROM into the optical disk drive. 

3. 

Reboot the system by pressing 

Ctrl

, 

Alt

 and 

Del

 keys or press the power button to power off 

and then on. 

 

IMPORTANT:

  If the Windows Setup screen (step 

4.

 below) does not appear after this operation, it 

means <Enter> key was not pressed properly. Power on to restart the system and start from 
the beginning. 
 

„

  Boot from DVD-ROM. The message “Windows is loading files...” appears. 

 

4. 

Select the language and other items and click [Next] when the below screen appears.
