Remove the screw securing the filler panel removed in the previous step to
the right device rail. Save the right device rail. See Figure 4-28.

Remove the device from its protective wrapper and place it on an antistatic
surface. Record the drive model and serial number in the equipment log.
8.
Set any drive jumpers or switches before you install the drive. See the
documentation that comes with the device for jumper or switch information.
Note:
If the drive comes with drive rails, do not use
them. Remove any rails already attached.
9.
Position the right device rail along the right side of the device so that the
four holes in the device rail match the four holes located in the side of the
device. Attach the right device rail to the device with four screws as shown
in Figure 4-29.
