To place a Tandem Call on Hold (after Barging In):
1.
Press
HOLD
.
a) The tandem callers hear Music On Hold (if installed) while they wait on Hold.
b) While on Hold, the tandem callers cannot talk to each other.
2.
To rejoin the Tandem Call you have placed on Hold, do one of the following:
a) Press
CONF
.
b) Press one of the line keys involved in the Tandem Call.
Setting up a Line-to-Line Transfer
•
This is a type of Tandem Call in which you never have to join in with your outside callers.
To set up a Line-to-Line Transfer:
1.
Place or answer an outside call.
2.
Press
TRANSFER
.
3.
Place or answer another outside call.
4.
Hang up.
a) The two outside callers join together, just line a normal Tandem Call.
b) The line/loop keys for the outside lines stay on (red).
c) If the outside parties disconnect, the lines you selected or your extension does not have Tandem Call capability.
